Wyeast 1056 American Ale yeast is a very clean yeast with crip flavors and low fruitness and mild ester production. 1056 is a very versatile yeast for styles that desier dominant malt and hop character. This American Ale yeast makes a wonderful "House" strain.
Mild citrus notes develop with cooler fermentation temps around 60-66F. Normally requires filtration for bright beers
