Balances moderate roast character with medium-high hop bitterness. Briess Special Dark LME and Amber extract provide the fermentable sugars for moderately high alcohol content. The hop bitterness and flavoring are attributed to Warrior and Simcoe and the hop aroma comes from Cascade dry-hopped. Specialty grains include Briess Maltster's Reserve Midnight Wheat, Victory, caramel 80L and chocolate.
